He eventually earned his pro card by winning the overall title at the Amateur Olympia in Kuwait City.

This is, of course, the most promising athlete who, having won only one PRO tournament, went to Olympia and at the same time entered the TOP Big Ramy turned pro with less than three years of training experience. Outside his competitive bodybuilding career, Elssbiay is involved in several business ventures as an competitor and entrepreneur.

After several years of representing multiple supplement companies, he started his own trademark, Red Rex, in , and has worked as a business promoter.[6]

Early life

Mamdouh Mohammed Hassan Elssbiay was born on 16 September in Al-Sebea, a town in Kafr El Sheikh, Egypt.[7] He worked as a fisherman before moving to Kuwait, where he started to train professionally in Kuwait City in [8]

Bodybuilding career

Elssbiay earned his pro card by winning the overall title at the Amateur Olympia in Kuwait City.[9] In , he united Oxygen Gym in Kuwait.

By , he weighed lbs, and when he stepped on the Amateur Olympia Kuwait stage, he weighed in at lbs and was declared the champion. In , Elssbiay made his IFBB Pro-debut at the New York Pro, which he won.[10] In and , he won the Mr.

Olympia contest.[11]

Personal life

In October , Elssbiay tested positive for COVID, preventing him from participating in the Europa Pro Bodybuilding Championships.[12]
