Idols SA’s Siphelele Fuze premiers his debut album on the Spectacular Tour

In association with Concerts SA, independent recording artist Siphelele Fuze will begin on the Spectacular Tour around South Africa.

Provinces where Siphelele will premier his debut album – due for release in July – include Eastern Cape, Durban and the Free State.
Born on 22nd April at iNanda (near Durban), Siphelele “Fuze” Ngcobo has established himself as one of the musicians to look out for in the year Describing his album, Siphelele says: “My debut album will have a mixture of conservative and contemporary tunes.

I tried to write beyond myself and deal with issues that we all face in our daily lives.” For Siphelele, that is what music is all about &#; a music rich in the human experience and spirit.
In East London Siphelele will be supported by Impact Band: Kuhle Mboku (drums), Thembelani Batala (bass), Sbu Majiza (keys) and Lungisa Williams (guitar).

In Vrede Siphelele will be backed by Tumelo Kumako (keys), Sbongiseni Shongwe (drums), Ritshidzi Maswime (bass) and Thabang Sefako (guitar). Siphele Fuze’s band in Durban is comprised by Wanda Khwela (keys), Sphelele Nyide (guitar), Boikie Mnomiya (drums) and Senzo Mdamba (bass).
Siphelele sever his teeth in the melody industry at a very fresh age with classical singing as a school boy.

His exposure includes working as a backing vocalist at the Crown Gospel Awards. He attained fame when he entered one of the biggest music competitions in South Africa, Idols SA, where he reached top four finals in Season Underscored by his subtle, yet cool demeanour, his fusion of Afro-Soul/Jazz and urban song, blended into a modern and unique sound, soon saw him performing on big stages around the country with the international legend and songstress Ms Regina Belle.

Siphelele has now put his eyes on a bigger picture.
“This debut album premiere tour across South Africa will help me launch my career and I hope to stimulate the audience through live harmony experience”, says Siphelele.
Siphelele Fuze’s Spectacular Tour is supported by Concerts SA through the Melody Mobility Fund, a funding mechanism which offers opportunities for South African musicians to undertake dwell music tours.
Concerts SA is a joint South African/Norwegian survive music development project housed within the SAMRO Foundation.

Concerts SA receives financial, administrative and technical support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SAMRO, the SAMRO Foundation and Concerts Norway.
