Will it not be best for you, therefore, to put off your journey till the holidays? But determine as you appreciate best and let me recognize what will be most pleasing to you.

Philip Hamilton, H’s eldest son, was born in On November 26, , Moore Furman, a resident of Trenton, New Jersey, wrote: “Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton came to town last night they have brought their son to put to boarding school to our Episcopal Church Parson” (The Letters of Moore Furman [New York, ], 90).

William Frazer was the Episcopal rector of St. Michael’s Church in Trenton under whom Philip Hamilton studied.

The tempestuous, transcendent drama of the Scottish countryside is captured in the wild, sweeping works of Scottish artist William Miller Frazer. Born in Scone, Frazer would participate in the growth and progress of Scottish landscape painting during the late 19th and first 20th centuries. Long desiring to compete with the artistic endeavours of neighbouring England, Scotland was making sure to make its mark, investing heavily in its artists. Indeed, Frazer would join the acclaimed Royal Scottish Academy to receive his arts learning, intended to compete with English schools such as the Royal Academy in London.
